Lithium Tantalum (LiTaO3) is an extremely versatile crystal material. Its pyroelectric and nonlinear opticalcoefficients are used for various EO applications.High Sensitive Thermal Infrared Detectors are commercially manufactured with Unirystal’s lithium Tantalum large size ultra-thin wafers.Periodically Poled Lithium Tantalum(PPLT) chips are manufatured by appling electric field on LiTaO3 wafer with fine electrode, PPLT is quickly being applied to meiddle-infrared laser.

Unicrystal grows large diameter high-optical quality LT crystals from a congruent melt, using the Czochralski method.and supplies typically Three-inch diameter LT wafers..2inches 6mol%Doped MgO Lithium tantalum wafers are available.
